4P-Pharma et PULSALYS établissent un accord de co-maturation pour le développement d’un médicament innovant dans le traitement du cancer
4P-Pharma, la société de recherche préclinique, spécialisée dans le développement de nouveaux médicaments et PULSALYS la Société d’Accélération du Transfert de Technologies de Lyon Saint-Etienne, ont conclu début février 2017 un accord de co-maturation avec option de sous-licence visant au développement d’un médicament innovant répondant à un besoin non pourvu dans le traitement des cancers et notamment dans la résistance aux chimiothérapies.
Ce candidat médicament développé par l’équipe du Pr Gillet au Centre Recherche en Cancérologie de Lyon ouvre une nouvelle voie de traitement contre les leucémies aigues myéloblastiques, les cancers du sein et du poumon à petites cellules. Le financement de ce programme « Onco-Bcl », partagé entre la SATT et 4P-Pharma, s’élève à 390 mille euros sur une période de 24 mois.

4P-Pharma and PULSALYS Establish a Co-Maturation Agreement for the Development of an Innovative Drug for Cancer Treatment
4P-Pharma, the preclinical R&D company specializing in the development of new medicines and PULSALYS, the Accelerating Technology Transfer Company of Lyon Saint-Etienne, concluded on February xxth 2017 a co-maturation agreement with a sub-licensing option, aimed at the development of an innovative drug to answer an unmet need in the treatment of cancers, and especially for resistance to chemotherapies.
This drug candidate, developed by Professor Gillet’s team at the Lyon Cancer Research Center, opens a new route of treatment for acute myeloblastic leukemia, breast and small cell lung cancers. The financing of the “Onco-Bcl” program is shared between SATT and 4P-Pharma, and amounts to 390 thousand euros over a period of 24 months.
